The Kan Jam Winter Klassic was the first organized Kan Jam tournament to take place indoors, and continues to be held at the beginning of each year as the official indoors Kan Jam tournament. The first two years of the tournament were held at the Sportsplex in North Tonawanda, NY in 2004 and 2005. The tournament was held in double elimination format before switching to the standard regular season/playoff bracket format that is used today.

For the next three years, the tournament moved to Lockport, NY where it was held at the Kenan Center Arena from 2006 to 2008. With the growth and popularity of the game increasing, the tournament has moved to a larger facility in the Western New York area called the Sahlen's Sports Park in Elma.

In the six year history of the tournament, only two teams have won, both multiple times. These are also the 4-time and 3-time Kan Jam World Champions, namely "Dorkus Malorkus" (Bob & Josh Greenauer) and "Sole Survivors" (Eric Klavoon & Steve Wojcik). [Back to Winter Klassic Home]
